Research topics

The main research topics concern the mathematical modelling of the mechanical behaviour of soils and rocks. Several research programmes were also devoted to the analysis of the interaction of geomaterials and engineering structures (foundations, sheet piles, tunnels, earth reinforced walls, slope and mine stability)
